A tournament official will be on the water to determine time qualifications. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.In keeping with the Church Mouse tradition, the rules are simple. To have a confirmed release you must contact tournament control (Oasis) on channel 71 with your hook-up. New of 2008 "FISH CLOSE, WIN BIG" Keeping with the fun and simple idea of the Mouse we thought we would ADD a major prize for the fish hooked up and then released closest to mooring "231" in Avalon. The check in will be the same, except to qualify you will have to give us you lat/ lon, for the hook up. The winning lat/lon, will be announced Tuesday night. The winner will still be eligible for all other prizes.
All tournament boats please help relay info, to and from the boat hooked up. Then take photos with the tournament camera. Tournament control will instruct what photos must come before the release and what photos after the release. The picture must show the leader in a member’s hand with the fish. The camera must be in the harbor by 4:00pm on Aug. 26th and turned in at the Weigh Station by 4:30pm. Winning teams are determined by how may fish they release and the times they release them. The first fish released becomes 1st place until someone else releases two fish, as we saw last year this can make the outcome very exciting. Trophies are donated by Mario Delores of A&A Golden West Trophies. As always all teams that release fish will win prizes. Riff Hintermeyer has been hard at work acquiring more sponsors and donators.
